Syrnyky (cheese pancakes) with chocolate chips are soft, tender Ukrainian cheese pancakes with a dessert twist – pieces of chocolate inside each pancake. The base is sour milk cheese mixed with white granulated sugar, egg yolks, premium wheat flour, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt, and enriched with chocolate chips, which melt slightly during frying and give a rich, creamy-chocolate taste.

These syrnyky are ideal for breakfast, brunch, dessert or an afternoon snack. Serve them hot with sour cream, Greek yogurt, berry sauce, honey, jam or fresh berries – they’re equally loved by kids and adults.

Cooking method: frozen syrnyky are fried in preheated sunflower oil (butter) over low heat, while rolling over as needed.
